Did UGA recruit too well at RB?

Sometimes if you recruit too well at a position, it may hurt you with the next year’s recruiting class.

This past year, UGA arguably signed the best duo of running backs in the nation with 5-stars Nick Chubb and Sony Michel.

That’s the good news. The not-so-good news is that the stellar recruiting crop may affect the Bulldogs with the state’s top running back for 2015, McEachern High School’s Taj Griffin.

The 5-foot-10, 175-pound Griffin is rated as the nation’s No. 1 all-purpose back in the 247sports composite rankings.

Now UGA by no means out of it with Griffin, but he did give a candid answer when asked about how Michel/Chubb would affect his consideration of the Bulldogs.
