More than a dozen major-college prospects on the field when Buford defeated Washington County for this year’s Class AAAA state championship at the Georgia Dome.

And the best player on the field was only a sophomore.

That would be Buford tight end Isaac Nauta, who had nearly 20 early scholarship offers before he got halfway through his sophomore year of high school.

The 6-foot-5, 240-pounder is the early frontrunner to be the state’s top overall prospect for 2016.

  • Why have things been so quiet with Nauta’s recruiting lately?
  • How did his visit go to South Carolina?
  • Which colleges will he visit this spring?
  • Where do things stand between Nauta and UGA? Georgia Tech?

Isaac said Buford LOST to Lovett. I think you should change that.

It is so so long before he can sign I hope he can survive the recruiting process that long with the pressure of people calling him the #1 for 2016.
