UGA’s unique recruiting tactic of Mark Richt sending hand-drawn portraits to top prospects has gone viral this week. It’s explained at the bottom of this article.
The sketch story has been picked up by most national media outlets, and also has been the subject of many jokes on Twitter.
Mark Richt had some fun after ESPN’s Joe Schad tweeted out a sketch of him in a UGA uniform on Friday. (And to the best of our knowledge, it was the first time that Richt has ever responded to tweet in more than five years on Twitter)
