Freshman phenom talks about UGA and Georgia Tech

We really don’t cover a lot of football prospects that are underclassmen in the state of Georgia. We can barely keep up with the current class of seniors because there are so many.

You have to be really special.

James Walker, who just finished his freshman year at Jonesboro High School, is special.

He’s 6-foot-5 and 200 pounds, and led Jonesboro to a state championship in basketball this past year as a freshman. He was the team’s top scorer. You can read more about him HERE

This spring, Walker went out for football for the first time since middle school and earned football scholarship offers from Miami and Clemson.

There’s more coming. A lot more.

And as strange as that sounds, it’s easy to understand once you see Walker: He big, strong, athletic and agile. He passes all the eyeball tests.
