Track star is hoping to earn UGA offer at Dawg Night

Every year, there are a handful of Georgia kids who explode on the recruiting scene as high school seniors.

Shiloh High School’s Jeremy McDuffie is definitely one of those guys.

After turning in a dominant performance at last month’s state track meet, McDuffie has rapidly turned into one of the state’s hottest prospects with nearly 20 offers.

College scouts are understandably infatuated with McDuffie’s speed. He led Shiloh to the Class AAAAAA state championship in track as a team, while winning the 110 and 300 hurdles with blazing times (His 110 in 13.83 seconds was seventh-fastest in the nation this year).

The 5-foot-11, 170-pounder earned an offer from Florida at camp last month, and has the Gators and Duke as his leaders.

He is attending UGA camp next month, and hopes to earn an offer there, too.
