Florida Gators QB recruit boldly shows off new hairdo

By Michael Carvell

Remember when Hillgrove High School’s Kenyan Drake made national headlines for getting a giant “A” cut into the side of his head for The Opening all-star competition to attract other recruits to Alabama?

Kenyan Drake has nothing on Sheriron Jones.

Nothing.

The 4-star quarterback who is committed to the Florida Gators showed up at The Opening this week with the most unique haircut I’ve ever seen on a recruit.

Ever.

Anywhere.

Thoughts on Jones’ hairdo? Please post below.

The runner-up would be the locks of Penn State DL commit Adam McLean. It’s nice, but mostly words and not in the same galaxy as Sheriron Jones imho.

It's not what's on the outside of Sheriron Jones' head that should matter... but what's actually on the inside of Sheriron Jones' head  that should be the more important factor... If you have a problem with Jones' hair style then you're probably too old!

It's no worse than an inbred fat dawg fan wearing overalls and painting a bulldog on his head every game... But he is white so it is okay right?

It will go well with his jeans shorts.

I'll bet $100 to a spoon of grits that most of you trolling on here have never suited up a day in your lives.....BUT, quick, to criticize.  LOL

This FLA QB is guaranteed one thing, HE WON'T BE IN THE NFL! FLA QB's never succeed at the next level. oh and Gators please don't reference Tebow. You can now get his jersey at ROSS. Yes the discount store!

Why would a child make a fool of himself like this? Could it be to get his picture in the paper? Conformity to idiocy.

Because that is personal information.  But they do not get into places like Florida without a certain score on either.

@SmarterThanYouuu  I bet he won't lock one of his kids in a basement for several years though. Know what I mean?

I'll take your bet!  Played high school, college and two years in the pros(practice squad) as a QB.  In fact, let's make it $10,000 to a spoon of grits.

Challenge me!

Grossman has been in the NFL for years.  Played QB at Florida and started in the Super Bowl. Another former Spurrier QB, name slips my mind at the moment, played 16 years in the NFL and was a starter for the Bears and Redskins and played a key backup role for other teams later in his career.  I would call that successful former Gator QBs.  But, yes, Danny W. and Timmy T. did not take their Heisman's to NFL success.  But, they still won Heisman Trophies.....and I think that is considered a success as well.

@Gopher86 I think most would rather have 3 national championships in the last 20 years than 1 mediocre NFL quarterback... and Stafford is only decent because he has the best receiver in the NFL... Guess that kind of thinking doesn't pass through a dawg fan since its been so long since y'all have won a national title! Keep shopping at Ross you bum!

And Muschamp is not going anywhere but up with the Gators.  Jones is top QB commit to Florida and another top 100 LB from Cleveland, Ohio....Jerome Baker.....committed to the Gators this AM.  A bunch more top 100 recruits are lined up to commit to Florida as well.

That top rated duel threat QB is hardly a clown.....and yes.....he can play and will be very successful in Roper's offense.

But where did it all go wrong for you?  Too many hits to the head on that pro practice squad?

My observations from the sidelines indicate the  ONLY way the Gators can go is "UP"  or  "SIDEWAYS".

Has anyone heard whether or not Ga. Southern managed to get the Gators for Homecoming or is it still pending????

UF football admits have to have a certain grade average in high school and score a certain score on the ACT or SAT or they do not get in if they have been regular education students in high school.  Florida did admit a 5-star DL recruit a few years ago that had been a special education student in high school, but he did not make it academically at Florida and transferred to Tennessee (he did not make it academically there either).

Nothing wrong at all. Liberal girly men like you can only dream about what I've done and what I have today.

Na......Georgia Southern has Nebraska for homecoming this year.  Easy win for the Eagles.  Not so much for other teams.

@Gopher86 @BradleyBreeze @FreddieBlassie ...........I am glad there is some kids out there who take advantage of their athletic ability and get these scholarships regardless of their parents influence or lack there of and or the neighborhood they grew up in(Bad or Good). The kid is just being a kid.............you are right.............his parents are probably proud and should be that way!

You're  so obnoxious with your B/S regarding your players/recruits can do this and that. Two losing seasons out of the past 3 don't get you many tokens at the Respect Machine. It's Friday so the weekly UF Jorts Clubs cookout should be starting soon.

Cleveland's Jerome Baker, and U.S. Army AA top 100 LB recruit.......to Florida over guess who?

As long as you are getting personal......I will take a UF Jorts Club (women do look hot in them by the way) over a Bama KKK club any day, of which I hear you might be the Prez.
