2016 QB Zerrick Cooper has early offers from Clemson, Miami and Ohio St.

By Michael Carvell

This is the third time we’ve caught up with 2016 QB Zerrick Cooper at a 7-on-7 camp this summer.

And to be quite honest, really nothing has changed with recruiting since the first time we talked to Cooper.

The 6-foot-3, 200-pound QB from Jonesboro High School has around 10 early offers, including Miami, Clemson, Ohio State and Kentucky.

Cooper talks about his recruiting in the video:

This is why Uga suffers...always sleeping in their back yard...and putting TOO much stock in players they seldom get nationally, my hope is, they at least,  start showing strong interest in certain players in state whether they offer or not..,and stop being so selective to the point, where we have very little options, if any.

96JB I hope you are right, this I do know... our adversaries are not playing, when it comes to recruiting and a strong desire to win Championships.

I like CMR, but its time to take that next step or Uga will be what they always be , a solid to good program but never elite

Dawg fans relax. The future at QB is sitting in Washington State as a junior. A 6'4" flame thrower who is being compared to Tom Brady. He's headed to Athens and is calling linemen already to commit to the G. Good luck to Jordan wherever he goes. No offer from Dawgs.

@96JB - I heard the same thing. Unfortunately, it is too far out for his signing day. I would be surprised if  someone from the Pac-whatever does not grab him. Still, it would be nice to see him in Athens in a few year.
