UCF commit to attend UGA’s Dawg Night

By Michael Carvell

What if UCF commit Cameron Stewart earns an offer from UGA at Dawg Night?

That would be an interesting scenario.

UGA already has commitments from two wide receivers, a “possession guy” in Christian Owens and a “game-breaker” in 5-star Terry Godwin.

UGA is also actively recruiting Jayson Stanley, the son of a former Georgia Tech running back who has the Bulldogs and Auburn among his leaders.

There’s a lot to like about Cameron Stewart. He’s 6-foot-3, and has the speed and quickness to be a formidable deep threat.

Stewart talked about his recruiting in the below video:

Any offer going out now is probably contingent on either Stanley or Chigbu passing.  These are the two UGA wants.

UGA will be losing their 3 best wrs (conley, mitchell and bennett) after next season.  yes, i'm projecting that mitchell bolts with a year of elgibility remaining.  considerable drop-off to the next tier of guys.

OL is a certainly a need, but there's currently more depth at OL for the next 2 seasons than WR.

How many spots left open? What are our immediate needs, and where will we be weak next year? Can you ever have too many impact WR's in a passing Offense like UGA's?

I agree w/ 96JB and DIT....Will Friend is a weak link on the staff....this year should be his determining year!!

Totallt agree with 96JB, Where are the O-Liine recruits. You can have a ton of offensive play makers, but if you can't block for them it will not make a hill of beans.

I would like to see this spot go to a top notch OL or DL. The woods is full of wideouts.

It's getting a little old to continue seeing all the grumbling about UGA's OL situation!!!  I am quite certain the UGA coaching staff is doing it's best to secure O Linemen. This bellyaching has been going on for years  with no end in sight although a true freshman RB who was NOT  HIGHLY

RATED and was the last recruit offered, managed to average   OVER   5yds./carry!!!!!!
