Georgia Tech got its third commitment of the day when wide receiver Brandon Singleton pledged to the Yellow Jackets on Friday night.
The 6-foot, 170-pounder is from Boutte, La.
Georgia Tech now has 17 commitments from 2015 after Etowah High School offensive linemen Brad and Scott Morgan (twins) picked the Yellow Jackets earlier in the day.
Singleton has yet to be rated in the 247sports composite rankings, and he also had offers from Grambling State, Louisiana-Monroe, Northwestern State and Southeast Missouri State, according to his 247sports profile.
Singleton said LSU offered him a track scholarship after he won a state championship in the 300-meter hurdles. He has national elite times in the 300 (37.43 seconds) and 110-meter hurdles (13.91), per Nola.com.
JacketsOnline.com’s Kelly Quinlan said that Singleton is ranked as a 2-star by Rivals and expects him to be a 3-star in the next release. “He’s had a huge summer.”
