Why is DT Antwuan Jackson nicknamed ‘Hercules’?

By Michael Carvell

Defensive tackle Antwuan Jackson, one of the state’s top prospects for 2016, is nicknamed “Hercules.”

How did he get that nickname? He talks about it in the below video.

The 6-foot-3, 265-pounder from Cedar Grove High School is rated as the state’s No. 13 overall prospect for 2016. He already has a dozen early offers, including Alabama, Auburn, UGA and South Carolina.

Most people think it’s automatic he’ll follow his brother, former Cedar Grove linebacker Bryson Allen-Williams, to South Carolina.

“Hercules” talks about all of that in the below video:

Interesting comments about this kid's mother. You idiots act as if she does not have a place in her kids life because of where they decide to play football. She has been there from the beginning. How about sticking to your own kid's affairs and let her continue to be the mother who got her children to this point in their lives.

Bryson's mother didn't care where he went. For those that know Bryson he's a stubborn kid and made his own decision. She may have opened her mouth too much trying to explain too much, but she didn't choose his school. It's time to back off of her. Move on.  She has very little to do where the kids visit. They tell her where they wanna go and she takes them like any good mom would do.  Auburn is the leader for this kid, watch what I tell you. Garner has jumped on him quickly and is building a great relationship with him Good luck UGA. He and Bryson are step-brothers and SC will not be a factor with him. Look for him to choose Auburn or Alabama.

Bryson's mother had nothing to do with UGA not getting her son. UGA waited to late to start recruiting the kid and missed out. But it's good to see that they made the corrections with Hercules.

I believe Bryson would have gone to Georgia if his mother had not been so involved in his Recruiting and let some Tech fans tick her off thinking they were Georgia fans. At the end when the communication was better and Bryson gave us a legitimate chance it was to close to signing day and too late.

I hope Antwuan will visit Georgia often and get to know the Defensive Coaches and not let what happened with his brother affect his decision.

@C-Kirk I think you're wrong. Bryson made his own decision. His mother had nothing to do with where he went. She wanted him to go to Bama.
