Rashad Roundtree, the Rivals 5-star from Augusta, has always been a priority for UGA’s 2015 football recruiting class.
Roundtree became even more important for UGA after the Bulldogs saw a longtime safety commit, Rico McGraw, flip to Alabama last week.
Roundtree, who is rated as a 4-star and the No. 9 overall prospect in Georgia via the 247sports composite rankings, hasn’t revealed his leader … but it is believed to be an Auburn-UGA battle.
He did name his top six schools recently, and he talks about what he likes about each one in the below video.
Also, how did McGraw’s flip affect Roundtree’s consideration of UGA since they both play safety?
What about the rumor that Roundtree was about to commit last week? And when will he publicly reveal his decision?
And where will Roundtree take his official visits? He’s already picked two, and filled in the AJC on that.
Finally, Roundtree’s father made history after being elected as Richmond County’s first black sheriff.
What about speculation that the father wants to the son to play for UGA to help out his bright political future within the state? Rashad gives a very candid answer about that in the below video.
