Clemson dismisses Atlanta football star for ‘poor attitude’

Former Brookwood High School standout Kyrin Priester was abruptly kicked off Clemson’s football team on Wednesday.

Clemson’s Dabo Swinney told reporters that Priester “has been dismissed from the team for an attitude that is not acceptable to our standards.”

As a senior wide receiver at Brookwood in 2012, Priester committed to UGA and switched to N.C. State before eventually signing with Clemson. He failed to qualify out of high school, spending last season at Virginia’s Fork Union Military Prep.

Priester transferred from the Orlando area to Brookwood before his senior season.
