UGA lands two in-state prospects for basketball

UGA’s basketball team picked up two early commitments for its 2016 class on Tuesday.

The two future Bulldogs are shooting guard Jordan Harris of Seminole County High School and combo guard Tyree Crump of Bainbridge High School.

Both prospects are high school juniors.

The 6-foot-4 Harris is rated as the higher of two, listed as a 4-star prospect in the 247sports composite rankings. He reported offers from Florida State and Michigan State, among others.

The 6-3 Crump is rated as a 3-star and also claimed offers from Florida State, Texas A&M and Wake Forest.

UGA has one commitment for 2015, point guard William Jackson of Athens Christian.
