NFL Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson went on a rant on sports-talk radio, and took a shot at Alabama in the process.
Dickerson unloaded on plenty of topics, including his opinion that cheating was necessary to compete with the college football powers, according to 247sports.com’s Kevin Flaherty.
Dickerson played at SMU, which was later slammed by the NCAA’s death penalty for cheating.
“They still cheat,” Dickerson said. “All of them still cheat. The big schools still cheat. You think Texas isn’t cheating? You think A&M isn’t cheating? You think Alabama is not cheating? Yeah right. That’s laughable.”
You could understand Dickerson taking shots at his former archrivals, Texas and Texas A&M. But why Alabama? Where did that come from?
