UGA DB commit reflects on official visit to Wisconsin

Shaquery Wilson, who is committed to UGA, took an official visit to Wisconsin over the weekend.

The 3-star athlete from Miami told 247sports.com’s Ryan Bartow that he’s still committed to UGA, with Wisconsin rated as his second favorite school.

Wilson pledged to UGA at last summer’s Dawg Night prospect camp, less than a month after getting an offer from the Bulldogs. He can play wide receiver or defensive back, but said that he was being recruited to play on defense by UGA.

One major appeal to Wisconsin is that the Badgers will let him play his preferred position of wide receiver, he told the website. Wilson said he could also take his official visit to UGA within the next few weeks.
