A 3-star safety flipped from Mississippi State to UGA on the eve of Thanksgiving.

Jarvis Wilson, who is from Tupelo, Miss., announced his change of plans via Twitter on Wednesday night. He had been committed to Mississippi State since last May.

Things started to turn in UGA’s favor after Wilson took a surprise official visit with UGA last weekend.

The 6-foot-2, 197-pound Wilson is rated as the No. 19 overall prospect out of Mississippi. He is expected to enroll at UGA in January.

UGA now has 24 commits for 2015 and could sign as many as 30.
