Nick Saban courts UGA’s most prized recruit

It’s never a good feeling for other coaches when Nick Saban walks into the living room of your top recruit.

UGA may have been feeling a little uneasy after the Alabama coach had an in-home visit with its prized prospect for 2015.

The commit is Trent Thompson, the 5-star defensive tackle from Albany who is rated as the nation’s No. 2 overall prospect. Thompson committed to UGA over Alabama, FSU and others last August.

Things appear to be going well between UGA and Thompson, but Saban’s presence will likely cause some concerns.

And Thompson isn’t the only star commit that Saban is trying to steal from the Bulldogs. He reportedly met later Wednesday evening with Jonathan Ledbetter, the 4-star defensive tackle from Tucker High School who flipped from Alabama last summer after the Bulldogs signed his older brother to a football scholarship.
