UGA coaching change affects top in-state target?

EJ Price, who is the state’s best offensive lineman for next year not named Ben Cleveland, said the impending departure of UGA offensive line coach Will Friend affects how he feels about the Bulldogs.

Friend is reportedly following Mike Bobo to Colorado State to be the team’s offensive coordinator.

Price talks about Friend in the video below but it’s not really clear how to interpret the comments since Price hasn’t named any leaders yet. It’s really not clear where UGA (or any college for that matter) stands with Price. He has been tight-lipped about his recruiting so far.

UGA running backs coach Bryan McClendon recruits Gwinnett County for the Bulldogs.

One other note on Price: He will transfer from Central Gwinnett High School to Archer for his senior season, and he talks about that in the video. The 6-foot-6, 290-pound Price is rated as the state’s No. 9 overall prospect for 2016.

Here’s the video …
