UGA was one of first offers for hometown LB

One of the most impressive players at last summer’s UGA Dawg Night prospect camp was Jaleel Laguins.

That’s why the junior linebacker from nearby Oconee County High School was offered a football scholarship by UGA that night before he left camp. He lives about 10 miles away from UGA.

Laguins needs to improve on his football ability and with making plays, but he has a nice ceiling of potential. He’s got good size (6-foot-1 and 207 pounds) for an outside linebacker, along with the speed and agility to stay on the field for pass coverage.
