Georgia Tech picked up its third commitment for 2016 on Saturday night.
Chris Martin, a 3-star defensive end from Grayson High School, committed to the Yellow Jackets, among his 11 early offers. Martin also had Boston College and Miami of Ohio in his top three.
“It (Tech) was the perfect fit it has everything I look for in a college,” Martin told the AJC. “It’s perfect, and the place for me. Everything about it I love.”
The 6-foot-2, 260-pounder is rated as the state’s No. 98 overall prospect. Martin said he felt like it was the right time to make his college decision.
“I just feel like the point of the process is to find the perfect school,” he said. “I feel like I’ve got that with GT. Once I knew that and talked it over with family, it was time for me to make my choice.”
