There wasn’t a Georgia kid who looked more impressive at the Nike and Rivals camps this spring than Antwuan “Hercules” Jackson of Cedar Grove High School.
The 6-foot-2, 285-pound defensive tackle was one of only three Georgia players to earn invitations to both national camps later this summer.
Jackson has always been in the recruiting spotlight because his older brother, South Carolina linebacker Bryson Allen-Williams, was highly-recruited out of Cedar Grove a couple of years ago.
Some scouts had doubts about Jackson due to his height, but those concerns seemed to disappear after Jackson dominated elite competition at the camps. In fact, Jackson has bumped all the way up to the state’s No. 4 overall prospect.
Now obviously there’s speculation that Jackson will follow his older brother to South Carolina, but UGA seems to be a strong contender.
