Georgia Tech beat out some of the nation’s top football programs for an offensive lineman out of Florida on Wednesday.
Jordan Johnson of Jacksonville committed to Tech among his 18 offers, which included Ohio State, LSU, South Carolina and Miami.
The 6-foot-3, 260-pounder is rated as a 3-star and the No. 77 overall prospect out of Florida.
Johnson is commitment No. 6 for Tech’s 2016 recruiting class. The Yellow Jackets project to sign between 16-18 players in the class.
