The good news keeps rolling in for Alabama.
Alabama made the top five for Jean Delance, a 4-star offensive lineman from Texas. The other finalists were Texas, Michigan, Ohio State, and Texas A&M
Delance is from Mesquite, Texas, and he’s famous for de-committing from Oklahoma last March after a controversial video surfaced from Oklahoma’s Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity chapter.
Shortly thereafter, Delance reopened his commitment and received an offer from the Crimson Tide on March 9.
In May, the junior tackle announced his final nine schools via Twitter, which included Auburn, USC, Florida State and LSU. But after this evening, Texas is the only school remaining from the Big 12 that he’s considering.
As it now stands, Alabama has four offensive lineman commitments for its 2016 recruiting class. Delance would be the fifth pick up for the Tide if he chooses to commit.
However, Alabama may have to make up some ground with Delance. According to 247Sports.com’s Crystal Ball predictions, Delance is projected to sign with Texas A&M at 67 percent, followed by Texas at seven percent.
