UGA will get another shot at a 4-star who used to be committed to the Bulldogs.

EJ Price, a 4-star offensive tackle prospect from Central Gwinnett High School,, listed UGA among his top eight schools on Tuesday..

“A lot of people are thinking that because I decommitted that something happened, but I’ve been very clear that it’s not like that,” Price said. “Georgia has always been one of the top schools for me.”

Price, who is the state’s No. 1-rated tackle prospect, was previously committed to UGA, but decided to break it off with the Bulldogs on June 18. He felt like he had rushed his decision.

There was speculation that Price and UGA might be finished for good after the breakup, but the Bulldogs got renewed hope when Price showed up for Dawg Night prospect camp last month.

Here’s the rest of the top eight: Ole Miss, Michigan, Oklahoma, LSU, Auburn, Tennessee and Florida State.
